Track 145 is a bluegrass band based out of the Sequatchie Valley in Tennessee. The band provides great instrumental performances as well as award-winning lead vocals and amazing harmony vocals.
What sets Track 145 apart is the fact that they are comfortable in many bluegrass settings. Their repertoire includes traditional, progressive, and gospel bluegrass songs as well as “grassed up” pop songs. This translates into the broad diversity of their audience, people who enjoy a variety of genres are drawn to their music.
Some Noteable Accomplishments:
Ole Red Gatlinburg - March 2019 What an honor to be asked to play the opening weekend at the Blake Shelton inspired restaurant, Ole Red Gatlinburg, with a total of 4 shows in the month of March 2019.
Bluegrass Underground at the Caverns - June 30, 2018, we opened for Bobby Osborne and the Rocky Top X-Press at the Caverns in Pellham, TN.
Award-Winning - On July 6, 2018, our lead singer, Audrey Smith, won first prize in the Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree Old-Time Appalachian Solo competition. On July 21, 2018, we won 1st prize at the Scopes Festival Band Competition. Jack Smith, won 3rd place in the mandolin competition that day as well.
Robust Social Media Presence - We have 10,000+ followers on Facebook. We posted a video at the end of June 2018, and within 10 days, we had over 1 million views. That video was later picked up and posted by 8 national pages and now has well over 2 million views. In July of 2017, we were honored to be the first band to record the song, “Rocky Top” in the room where it was written. We posted it on Facebook and it was an instant hit, receiving over 100,000 views in the first weekend. Neyland Stadium, the city of Gatlinburg and Ear Trumpet Labs used this video for promotional purposes.
Dollywood - We had the privilege of being hired by the kind folks at Dollywood to perform for guests during the Bluegrass and Barbeque Festival in May 2018.
National Cornbread Festival - We had the privilege of playing at the National Corbread Festival in April 2018.
Uncle Dave Macon Days - The band also had the honor of playing at Uncle Dave Macon Days on July 14, 2018.
WRCB-TV Channel 3 Interview - We were a featured guest on Chattanooga's own 3 Plus You program on June 25, 2018.
WDVX Blue Plate Special - We were a featured guest on Knoxville's Blue Plate Special program on June 29, 2018.
Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales during the summers of 2017 and 2018. They were hired by the city of Gatlinburg to stroll the streets and play music for guests visiting the city.
The City of Gatlinburg has hired us to be on the city’s 2017 Christmas parade float and perform “Rocky Top” with the songwriter’s son.
The City of Gatlinburg hired us to provide music for 2017 The Taste of Autumn, an annual fundraiser for the United Way.
Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine - Our business agent and sound man, Travis Smith, was quoted in the March 2018 issue of "Bluegrass Unlimited" telling our story of how we have come to use Ear Trumpet Labs' microphone, Myrtle.
The Bluegrass Jamboree has been gracious enough to play our music on their radio station along with several others. We are now being played on radio stations from North Carolina to California.
